The research group is an open collective of people interested in the development of research methods independently of the distinctions between art and science.

Many participants study or have studied epistemic media within the master’s program Klang und Realität at the RSH Düsseldorf, others have joined our communal efforts.

Research Associates

Dennis Scheiba and Lennart Melzer have worked as künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter in numerous projects, as part of the research group as well as adding immensly valuable indirect contributions. In her time as Mitarbeiterin in the Haptic Thought Laboratory, Myriam Lefkowitz contributed important methodology from dance and interdisciplinary work; this continues in the form of workshops. For a short period, the composer Jia Liu will conduct a project about curating microcompositions.
